How to Play
The name "Deuces Wild" refers to the fact that the
deuces (cards with a face value of 2) can stand for any card of any
suit. This game follows the standard rules of the card game "Deuces
Wild." The table shown above the cards on the game screen displays
the payouts for each winning hand.
Payouts do NOT represent real dollars but can be applied to your top
score. To add your name to the list of Today's Top Scores, click on
Add High Score then enter your information.
Bet
To place your bet, click on the Bet button. A hand of five cards will
be dealt. Each bet has a value of ONE credit.
Hold
Select the cards that you wish to keep (hold) by clicking on the card
or by clicking on the HOLD button below the card. The word 'Hold' will
appear on the card. To clear the Hold, click on the card again.
Deal
When you are satisfied with the cards you are holding, click DEAL to
receive new cards. The outcome of the round will be decided on this
final hand. If you have a winning hand, the appropriate hand, along
with the amount won, will be highlighted in the table shown above the
cards. If you do not have a winning hand, click DEAL to continue playing.
Collect
After a winning hand, you can choose to collect your credits by clicking
the COLLECT button, or you can choose to double your credits by clicking
on DOUBLE. You must collect to receive to a new hand.
Double
After you click on DOUBLE, a new hand is dealt with one card showing.
Choose one out of the remaining four cards. If you choose a card of
greater value than the face-up card, you win; equal value, you tie;
lesser value, you lose. If you win on a double bet, you can choose
to double again. Each doubling action gives you the chance to double
the current value of the payout at the risk of having no payout at
all should you lose.
Poker Hands:
Below you will find the combinations that make up the standard poker
hands used in calculating the player's points. Any deuce (a card with
the face value of 2) can stand in for any other card's rank and suit
to help you complete a winning hand. Whenever you get one or more deuces
in your hand, the game will automatically assign a suit and value to
it to give you the highest possible payout.
